In Christian life and ministry work like ours, we discover ourselves living and recognizing those companions in the faith who constantly nurture us. Is it not purely wonderful to consider the depth of the friendship between Paul and Luke? While reading through Paul’s letters and epistles, those verses resonant like an anthem as he often lists his endearing companions in the faith. So many became so important to his well being, his journeys, his compassion and his zeal for the gospel. Most likely, there were countless moments that he reflected upon his own glorious experiences of “. . .him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to His power that is at work within us . . .” It is our grand hope to live out our Christian passions in Romania to reach the helpless, the hopeless and those thought forgotten. Like Paul, we are blessed with companions in the faith who bring us great joy because of their partnership with us in the gospel. Praise the Lord.
