Paul’s letter to Philippi reveals much about his relationship
among them. Philippians 1:3-5 teaches us about this emotional and
devoted relationship as
a “ . . .partnership
in the gospel from the first day until now.” They were on
each others mind, in each other’s heart and ever present in their
prayers for one another. Near the end of his letter, we learn why
Paul identifies Philippians as “partners in the gospel.”
Verses 15 and 16 of Chapter 4 reveal their love for God and Paul
which overflowed in their act of Christian giving. They financially
helped Paul which demonstrates their prayerful and practical bonds
with him in the Gospel.
It is our hope that as you visit our site, this Philippian character
